It actually comes in 4th position so starting at 10th position and working our way down, here are the 10 fastest cars in the world...

9th Fastest Car in the World = Ultima GT-R640 - 231mph

8th Fastest Car in the World = TVR Cebera Speed 12 - 240mph

7th Fastest Car in the World = Mclaren F1 - 240mph

The Fastest Car In The World Is....

So we've gone through the top 10, and here is the fastest car in the world, the Shelby Super Cars (SSC) Ultimate Aero. The 1287 hp V8 powers this carbon fibre clad "Hyper-car" all the way to 257mph! It gets to 60 mph in 2.78 seconds, and will power it's way down a 1/4 mile strip in 9.9 seconds. This is one FAST car!

Number 1 Fastest Car in the World = Shelby Super Cars (SSC) Ultimate Aero - 257mph

Video of the SSC Ultimate Aero

Interesting to know that SSC are working on (and will be producing) the Ultimate Aero EV. This will be the first 200mph+ electric car powered by a single 500bhp electric motor. It's worth mentioning that SSC are playing around with bolting 2 of their 500bhp motors together for a 100hp electric Hyper-car. Who says you can't have an economical Hypercar?

segway scooter

The Segway Scooter has always been a beautiful vehicle design that was just fun to look at. Even before its growing popularity, you cannot deny the desire you had to ride a Segway Scooter when you encountered one on the street, saw it on TV, or heard about it from friends. We may try to resist its beauty or geeky factor, but the Segway has stolen our hearts and is slowly increasing its use.

What is it that makes us long for the Segway Scooter? Is it looks alone? is it the portability? is it the wonderful Segway Tours that sometimes pass us on the streets? or is it just because it is different? Whatever the reason truly is, in the end, Segway is a really cool vehicle that I would love to have.

The following is a list of 11 Really Cool Segway Scooter Concepts and Designs created for a brand, as a project or has been modified from one form to another.

So next time you run across another Segway Tour or actually get a chance to ride one, which new Segway Scooter design or concept would you pick?

gas scooters

Gas Scooters:
This type can usually be compared by engine size, drive system, tires, and cost. The advantage of this type is the ability to deliver greater speed, and power to get up a higher incline. We do not carry parts to modify the power of these engines as we feel to do so may present unknown dangers for the user. These were made and tested by the factory with a stock motor and modifying the engine in anyway may result in unknown and dangerous results, so we do not encourage this. Our basic gas model is a very nice, solid unit and priced very affordablly. Please be aware of the tire sizes and purchase according to your expected terrain. Be aware some cheaper models have a direct drive system, THIS CAN BE DANGEROUS. The direct drive means the motor wants to keep going when you wish to stop. Our design utilizes a chain drive centrifugal clutch system. What this means is the tire does not turn until the motor has reached a certain RPM. While standing still our vehicle does not try to move forward. Direct drive systems will want to keep going forward and this could be dangerous in a busy intersection.

2009 Sport Car Renault Megane Trophy

The 2009 Megane Trophy will go on sale at the end of the year in the form of kit after the completion of its development programme which will enable existing cars to be upgraded.
The 2009 Renault Megane Trophy is based on the new Megane Coupe which is powered by the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s mid-rear 3.5-liter V6 24V engine that produces 360 hp.
The front and rear light units and windscreen are from the Megane Coupe road car while flowing lines of the bodywork was designed from digital simulation technology to improve the aerodynamic.
The Renault Megane Trophy features front splitter which channel air flow to the extractors and rear diffuser and wing that generated downforce. Downforce has improved by 20 % with the refinements to the set-up and drag was reduced by 15 % , which together, represent a gain of almost 40% in terms of the new car’s aerodynamic performance over the previous generation vehicle.

Apart from that, the Megane Trophy also features butterfly doors reminiscent of the world of GT and sports-prototype racing. The V6 3.5 24V engine is mated to a semi-automatic gearbox with the same mechanical features as the current car, including an FIA-homologated sports-prototype tubular chassis, steering wheel-mounted paddle shift, double wishbone suspension with adjustable dampers, 18-inch wheels and Michelin tires.
The power of the standard 330 hp engine was boosted to 360 hp with the help from the new inlet manifold. Rebuild is still at every 5,500 km for the car’s reliability. According to Renault, with the new aerodynamic gains, the extra power from the engine will enable the 2009 Renault Megane Trophy to lap in similar times to those of a Porsche GT3.
